We can utilize your schedules to verify that all patient information contained in the reports (such as name spellings, dates of birth, account numbers, etc.) is correct, so as to make sure that nothing sleeps between the cracks. We also check the accuracy and correct spellings of the names and addresses of all referring physicians. Also, we can reconcile the dictation we received against what patients were seen to ensure that nothing is missing, and fax copies of your reports directly to referring physicians.
And just because we’re sticklers for the details of your transcription doesn’t mean we the importance of quick turnaround is lost on us. Far from it, typical turnaround time is about 24 to 48 hours, and this can be accelerated to meet whatever individual client needs (with stat requests also accommodated).
Furthermore, it goes without saying that HIPAA compliance will be maintained throughout every step of the process. We take the issue of privacy and security with respect to patient medical records very seriously here, and will gladly sign and adhere to any special confidentiality agreement you may have.
Finally, know that our work for you doesn’t need to end at transcription. Any custom request can be integrated as well. This includes but is not limited to: extracting information from previous reports so the doctor doesn’t have to re-dictate, researching people’s names/place names online or via telephone, and re-structuring what the doctor dictates (changing the section headings, etc.) so that he can dictate a quick “rough draft” which we’ll turn into a final copy by putting everything where it belongs. As such, you can think of us as an extension of your in-house staff.
